Teaching for the Foundation Year 1 doctors takes place on each site every Wednesday between 12-1pm for 1 hour (as a rule of thumb). The programme is diverse and ensures that the FY1 curriculum is covered.
Feedback is taken at every session so that we can monitor and adapt the programme to suit the needs of future cohorts.
Teaching for Foundation Year 2 doctors take place once a month between 12-5pm alternating between sites. The programme is designed to ensure that all elements of the FY2 curriculum are covered and other topics such as the GMC are also introduced to help trainees during the transition into HST.
The programme is dedsigned and monitored by a nominated FTPD.
